Chapter 6 - The Final Betrayal And The Choice That Changed Everything

The address led Adrian to an abandoned warehouse outside Philadelphia.
The place where Daniel had planned everything.
But Adrian didn't go alone.
Caleb came with him.
“You trust me now?”
Adrian looked at him.
“No.”
Caleb almost smiled.
“At least you're honest.”
“But I need your help.”
That mattered more than forgiveness.
Inside the warehouse, Daniel waited.
“You came.”
Adrian walked forward.
“You should have known.”
Daniel smiled.
“You always were predictable.”
“No.”
Adrian shook his head.
“I trusted you.”
Daniel's expression changed.
For a moment, silence.
Then Adrian continued.
“And that was your mistake.”
Daniel tried to escape.
But Caleb blocked the exit.
The brothers stood together.
The first time in years.
Daniel looked between them.
“You two are really going to forgive each other?”
Adrian answered:
“No.”
Caleb looked at him.
Adrian continued.
“But we are going to stop you.”
Daniel was arrested.
The evidence was released.
The council members who betrayed Adrian resigned.
And slowly, the Mercer organization began changing.
Not because Adrian demanded loyalty.
May you like
Because people finally saw the truth.
